Primary clients include museums, sports halls of fame, heritage sites, and corporate communication teams (to support both internal and external comms).
The Role:
We are looking for a programmer to fill an entry-level position developing interactive JavaScript web applications who has a mix of business acumen, customer perspective, collaboration skills, and creative expertise.
We are a small team; this role is dynamic, fluid and varied.
You will be programming projects from start to finish, providing support to the other programmers on the team, and bringing in new capabilities and perspectives to our projects.
One day, you could be working on an interactive sports hall of fame, the next day you could be brainstorming multiple experiences for a children's museum.
As a creative service organization, we pride ourselves in excellent customer service, attention to detail, and meeting and exceeding client creative expectations.
Your task will be to share your vision and voice at the brainstorming table and develop the engaging creative works we're known for producing.
The day-to-day:
Creating custom programming for current projects Brainstorming ideas for new potential projects Assisting other programmers with their projects Follow client guidelines while pushing creativity Engage in client facing meetings regarding potential and existing projects Work in a team environment Create and meet deadlines Provide input for estimating Requirements:
College course work in or hobby experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Willingness to learn new skills on the job Willingness to travel for exhibit installations Experience with some of the following:
Express ReactJS NextJS/Vercel MongoDB (or other noSQL databases) Python C#/.
NET API development Embedded/microcontroller programming (e.
