Responsibilities of this position include:
Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers Greet customers in a timely manner and obtain vehicle information and service needs Determine vehicle service needs based on customer information and vehicle walk-around Review manufacturer information to confirm warranty, recalls, and service actions on vehicle Interview customer to obtain thorough description of their concern Test drive vehicle with customer as needed Advise customer of necessary service and routine maintenance Prepare repair orders with vehicle information, parts and labor estimates for repair, and estimated time of completion Dispatch work to technicians Follow progress of vehicle repairs & advise customer of the status Maintain regular communication with the customer throughout the service process; when repairs are complete - explain work performed Establish and obtain customer method of payment if applicable Handle phone inquiries regarding appointments, work in process, or other customer questions Work with customer, technician or Service Manager to resolve customer concerns Meet customer service standards by achieving above district CSI (Customer Service Information) scores Provide an exceptional customer experience Safeguard dealership assets and customer information Demonstrate superior product knowledge to effectively help customers with servicing their vehicle Complete required training from both the dealership and the manufacturer Adhere to consistent work schedule Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions The successful candidate will have:
Previous Service Advisor experience Sales experience Basic knowledge of automotive repair Proficient on the computer Ability to resolve customer complaints Ability to interpret, understand and explain technical service bulletins in a non-technical way to customers Excellent communication and follow-up skills Detail oriented and organized Positive attitude Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Dealer Software experience preferred but not required Job Type:
