Position
Responsibilities:
Providing nursing care to patients throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of the patient's surgical experience Responsible for the direct and indirect delivery of professional nursing care for the patients in the operating room Initiate and develop discharge planning upon admission Responsible for ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of care delivered to patients within the perioperative and outpatient environment utilizing the nursing process Collaborates with physicians, health care providers, and team members in developing coordinated outcomes and interventions Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required Current unrestricted RN licensure in the state of Illinois and Iowa is required ACLS and PALS Certifications are required Minimum 3 years of prior perioperative nursing experience is preferred Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds Must be flexible with hours ORA Orthopedics is the Quad Cities' largest and most comprehensive orthopedic provider, proudly offering an integrated continuum of orthopedic care that includes orthopedic sub-specialty clinics, walk-in care at our Urgent OrthoCARE clinics, diagnostic imaging, bracing, physical therapy, pharmacy and outpatient surgery.
