Summary of Position:
As an HR Specialist, you will be at the heart of our Human Resources department, supporting various functions and playing a vital role in maintaining a positive and collaborative workplace.
This position requires not only routine responsibilities but also a flair for out-of-the-box thinking when faced with unique challenges.
This role involves extensive interaction with team members, prospective hires and vendors.
Upholding our service standards is paramount-be eager to serve, professional, and provide service at the first point of contact whenever possible.
Regional travel to our locations is required as needed.
Experience Required:
HR Specialist:
HS diploma or equivalent, minimum 2 years of HR-related experience Senior HR Specialist:
BA/BS in HRM or related field, or comparable HR certifications, with a minimum of 5 years of HR-related experience Main
Responsibilities:
Manage internal/external recruitment, from screening to onboarding Administer payroll and benefit programs accurately Conduct department audits related to 401k, payroll, and benefits Act as a resource for HR-related policies and procedures Keep workflows organized and efficient Represent IHMVCU in responding to unemployment claims (Senior level) Coordinate and process performance reviews (Senior level) Assist with discipline and employment decisions (Senior level) Assist with compensation programs (Senior level) Assist with maintaining and creating employment policies (Senior level) Proactively work legal items such as FMLA, ADA, accommodations (Senior level) Other duties as assigned If you're excited about contributing to a dynamic HR team, please submit your resume!
